To create awareness and sensitise the students about drugs, drug abuse and many more erils in society a seminar was organized in our Vidyalaya auditorium on 22 nd July for classes 11 and 12. The Thrissur city police conducted the seminar on the topic Curisosity training solutions. A seminar on the topic 'Drug Awarness' was organized in the Vidyalaya on 10 th October 2019 in connection with "Mottor Show 2019 " celebrating 12 years of success by GEC thrissur. Sri Joseph awarenss officer, Excise Department , Thrissur was the guest of the day. Sir enlightened the children through heart rending stories about MAD ( Mind altering drugs) . Sir Made them aware that all these drugs have their useful effect but the correct usage is important. This session was good for the children to create awareness about drugs related issues..
A talk on adolescent education/ sex education for standard 11th girls and boys was organised separately on 16th November 2019 Saturday in the conference call and Chinmaya Balkrishnana respectively. Dr Vinita (Consultant Gynecologist) District Hospital Thrissur and Dr Ramesh Kumar (Consultant District Hospital Thrissur) addressed the students based on the queries they had placed. The talk focused on their right to know about themselves, their adolescence and their sexuality basic facts on HIV and other ST's develop and reinforce life skills that enable them to protect themselves dispel myths and clarify misconceptions and so on. In a nutshell, the torque provided the students with the basic accurate knowledge about adolescence, sex and sexuality which they have been denied would help them to manage their behavior.
A seminar was organised by the Vidyalaya on 14th November 2019 Swamini Samhithandna addressed the students of class ninth. It was a refreshing and recharging session. Swamini Amma motivated the students through stories and episodes / anecdotes. Seminars on Cyber world highlighting Do's and don'ts for students of class VI and VII make them aware of perils lurking in the online world they frequent. The children were receptive and the session was conducted as per the CBSE guidelines was informative and interactive. The sessions were handled by teachers of the co scholastic department.

The annual Fun, Food and games Carnival "Samanvayam was held in the Vidyalaya on 29 th January 2019. It was a gala event where the students get an opportunity to develop various soft skills like negotiating, marketing, advertising and at the same time displaying their food items artisitically in various stalls which have been creatively christened. There are food items which can tickle anyones taste buds and also a member of innovative and fun filled games that literally take your breath away.
Another talk was conducted exclusively for the students of the commerce stream by Sri M Satyakumar on the topic Designing Career, Transforming India. He discussed in simple language the dilemma in opting for a subject for and after the plus two level and the plethora of opportunities available for commerce graduates. He was able to create a good rapport with the students and received great appreciation from them.
Sri C K Suresh of ATMA Foundation addressed the students of class XI and XII on 9th October 2018. Sir spoke about the factors necessary to reach ones goal. He associated the factors essential for success with the word COAT- Curiosity, Openness, Alertness and Thoughtfulness. Sir insisted that succeeding in a changing world is beyond just survival and inspired children for a life of self-empowerment through enthusiasm, energy, emotional well –being and efficiency.
Students of classes XI and XII were fortunate to be addressed by H H Swami Adwayanda on 6th July 2018 on the topic 'Key to a Happy and Successful life'. It was a refreshing and recharging session where Swamiji defined and commented on success through short stories which were appealing, motivating and edifying.

Dr. Lola Ramachandran, Professor of Gynecology and Consultant Gynecologist at Jubilee Mission Hospital and Medical College Thrissur addressed the girls of senior classes in connection with an adolescent education programme which was held on 19th November 2016. She discussed the various physical and emotional changes taking place during adolescents and how children must safeguard themselves against the negative influence in the society. She stressed that body is a temple and must be treated with care and sanctity. The session ended with a movie clip showing the process of child birth followed by an interactive session where the doctor personally clarified all the doubts of the students.
As a new venture, we the Vidyalaya have started aerobics training sections in the Vidyalaya for classes 7 and 8.Out of the three pt periods in a week, one period is chosen for their training.
The Balvihar class was inaugurated by H.H.Swami Gabeeranandji in the Vidyalaya auditorium on 15th June. Swamiji, Mukundan Sir, Principal and Saseedharan Sir addressed the students. The programme came to an end with a small skit and Swasthi Mantra.
The students of class 9 were taken to KILA on 22nd August 2016, as a part of their formative assessment, to understand the functioning of the local self government and the role of students in its functioning. International Yoga Day was held in the Vidyalaya on June 21st. Anjali Krishna – doing her Bachelor of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences conducted a session for the students of class VIII on yoga and its importance with demonstrations. Yoga provides a holistic approach to health and well-being. The students in the Vidyalaya were taught the various asanas, postures which they exhibited in the auditorium.nt
