National Level Science Quiz was conducted in ChinmayaVidyalaya Coimbatore on 21st January 2018. TanviSajan and PoojaManoj of Class VII won the second prize.
Our Vidyalaya secured the first prize in District Sahodaya Science Exhibition conducted at NirmalaMatha Central School on the 5thof November 2017. Haridhar M of XI A won the first prize. He won a trophy and cash prize of Rs 5000/-
Our Vidyalaya team(GouthamKrishana, Devanarayan and Abhinand K of 9 B) securedthe first position in the high school category for Janmabhumi Science Exhibition 2017 conducted at Devamatha Public schoolon 1.12.2017.These children received a cash prize of Rs 25000/- for the best team project
Annual Science Exhibition was inaugurated by Dr. K KRamachandran Associate professor Mechanical ,Govt. Engineering College on 8.12.2017.Our Students got an opportunity to exhibit their talents in the exhibition.
District level yoga competitions organized by District Yoga Sports Association was held on 7th January 2018 at AmrithaVidyalayam. 18 students of our Vidyalaya won gold medal while 52 students were awarded silver medal .Vidyalaya won the Trophy for “Maximum Participation of Students

39 th Annual sports day celebrations was held in our Vidyalaya on 28th November 2017 and the guest for the day was Smt C D Elsy Retd Circle Inspector of Police, Winner of World Masters Athletic Meet. The ceremonial lamp was lighted by Dr G Mukundan, Director of Education. The Sports flag was hoisted by the Chief Guest and an oath was taken by the house captains to ensure a fair play. The achievers in sports events carried the torch and was finally lit by the sports captains.
Thrissur District CBSE Kalotsav 2017 was held on 26th , 27th and 28th October 2017 at Paramekkavu Vidya Mandir Thrissur. The students of our Vidyalaya bagged many prizes in different competitions.
Thrissur District Sahodaya Basketball Tournament was hosted by the Vidyalaya on 23rd October 2017. International player Sri Mohammed Shiraz was the chief guest for the day. Vidyalaya Basketball team secured the 3rd position in the tournament..
The Vidyalaya choir group participated and secured 1st prize in the All Kerala Interschool Patriotic Song Competition conducted by YMCA on 17th August 2017 in connection with the Independence Day.
Thrissur District CBSE Kalotsav 2016 was held on 19th, 21st and 22nd October 2016 at CKM NSS Public School at Chalakkudy. The students of our Vidyalaya bagged many prizes in different competitions.
Poetry in Motion 2016 was held in Harishri Vidyanidhi School, Poonkunnam, TCR was held on 10th November 2016. 24 students participated from the Vidyalaya. The children were awarded with certificates and school with plaque.

Mayookhasree competition was held in Chinmaya Balakrishna on 19th Nov.2016. Sri K.B .Venu, media person and film critic inaugurated the competition. The panel of the judges was Dr. L. N Santha Kumar â€"FNA SCIENTIST G 2 Head Retired, Sri Muneer Amayoor, M.tech, Transmission executive, All India Radio, Thrissur and Smt.Shoba T.P MA. Lit. Assistant Professor, Paramekkavu College of Arts and Science. There were participants from 9 schools and Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Kannur bagged the prize for the outstanding speaker.
